What modules will I study?
The Certificate in Psychology consists of two 5 credit modules:
Module 1: Psychology, identities and the person
This will help you learn about the main branches of psychology including; psychodynamic, behavioural, cognitive, humanistic and positive. We will explore how each of these different branches of psychology views a person/identity. This programme will give you an opportunity to learn about the complex and multifaceted influences on human thinking and behaviour.
Module 2: Psychology: interactions, families and social issues
As human beings we are born into and live our lives in a group(s). Who you are as a person is embedded in the social world where much of the time we are influencing others and they in turn are also influencing us.
