Postgraduate Diploma in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design
The aim of the postgraduate diploma in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design is to provide an educational experience that enables participants to achieve an integrated understanding of the operation and strategy of Packaging, Innovation and Product Design, and to develop appropriate intellectual and personal skills. Specifically the programme is designed to offer participants the opportunity to gain a detailed knowledge of the underpinning theory and effective practice of Packaging, Innovation and Product Design which will be of particular benefit in a range of management and leadership roles as well as in specialized Packaging, Innovation and Product Design roles.

Participants will be required to have at least five years work experience within a packaging, innovation and product design role. In addition, candidates should hold a recognised level 8 degree in any field and/or a relevant professional qualification.
Online – Week commencing Monday 11th September 2023
This is a HCI Funded Programme.
This programme will be fully funded for eligible unemployed applicants.
Eligible employed applicants and eligible recent graduates (Summer 2021 and 2022) will be 90% funded. They will have to pay 10% directly to TUS Midlands. The 10% payable is €850.
1 year, 3 Evenings per week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday), plus selected Saturdays

NFQ Level 9 (90 ects)
Candidates who complete 60 credits (on completion of Year 1 of the programme) and wish to exit at this point will receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design. However, the full programme is offered as a 90 credit Master of Engineering in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design degree. Graduates who complete the Postgraduate Diploma will be eligible to transfer to a Master of Engineering in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design. Year 2 of the Masters programme involves the completion of a supervised 30 credits dissertation.
